So, the other day, I saw this question popping up online, people asking about Michael Strahan. You know, the football guy turned TV host. The question was, well, about his personal life, specifically if he’s gay.
It caught my eye, mostly ’cause you see him on TV all the time, seems like a pretty public figure. Curiosity got the better of me, I guess. So, I decided to spend a little time seeing what the fuss was about. Didn’t do any deep dives, just sort of poked around online where people chat about this kind of stuff.
What did I find? Well, a whole lot of chatter, that’s for sure. Lots of threads and comments with people asking the same thing. Some folks pointed out he’s been married a couple of times, has kids. Others just seemed to be throwing opinions around based on… well, I couldn’t really tell what, honestly. Just seemed like pure speculation, the kind you always see online about celebrities.
I kept looking for something solid, maybe an interview where he talked about it, or some kind of reliable source. Didn’t find anything like that. It was all just hearsay and people guessing. No official word, no credible reports, nothing concrete.
It kind of made me step back and think. Why do we get so caught up in this stuff? His personal life is, well, personal. Whether he is or isn’t, it doesn’t change who he is on TV or what he achieved in football. It feels like digging into something that’s really none of our business.
It reminds me a bit of when you hear rumors floating around your own town or workplace. Lots of talk, very few facts, and often it’s about things that don’t really impact anyone else. People just like to talk, I suppose.

So, after spending a bit of time looking into it, my ‘practice’ basically led me to a dead end of rumors. Nothing substantial. He seems busy with his work, his family, and that’s what’s out there for the public to see. The rest is just noise, as far as I can tell. Came away thinking it’s best to just let people live their lives without us needing to know every little detail.
