Alright, so I wanted to figure out what sticks Sergio Garcia has been using lately. You know, his WITB – What’s In The Bag. It’s always interesting to see what gear the top guys are gaming.

So, I started digging around. Spent a bit of time watching some recent tournament footage, you know, trying to catch glimpses of his clubs during swings or when the caddie pulls one. Also looked through a bunch of photos from the last few events he played in. It’s not always straightforward, these pros swap things in and out, test new stuff. Sometimes the sponsors make it tricky too, gotta look closely.
Took some notes, compared shots from different angles. Sometimes you can catch the model name on the sole or the shaft band if you pause at the right moment. It’s a bit like detective work, piecing it together bit by bit.
After a fair bit of looking and comparing notes from different places, I feel like I’ve got a pretty good handle on his current setup, or at least what he was playing very recently. Here’s what I managed to piece together:
Driver
- Looked like a TaylorMade Qi10 LS (maybe around 9 degrees, but hard to tell exact loft). Shaft seemed familiar, maybe a Fujikura Ventus Black.
Fairway Woods
- He usually carries a couple. Saw what looked like a TaylorMade Qi10 3-wood (around 15 degrees).
- Also spotted another TaylorMade wood, maybe a Qi10 5-wood (around 18 degrees). Same sort of shaft setup probably.
Irons
- This is where it gets interesting. Looked like a mixed set. Maybe a utility iron for the long ones, something like a Titleist U505?
- Then for the main set, seemed like Titleist 620 MB blades (maybe 4-iron or 5-iron down to Pitching Wedge). Classic Sergio, likes his blades.
Wedges
- Pretty standard stuff here for a tour pro. Looked like Titleist Vokey Design SM10 wedges. Probably had a gap wedge (around 50-52 degrees) and a sand wedge (around 56-58 degrees). He might carry a lob wedge too, maybe 60 degrees, but didn’t get a clear look.
Putter
- His putter changes sometimes, but recently he’s often seen with something mallet-like. Could be an Odyssey model, maybe one of the newer Toulon designs? Hard to be exact without a close-up.
Ball
- This one’s usually consistent for Titleist guys. Almost certainly the Titleist Pro V1x.
So yeah, that’s the rundown based on what I could figure out. Seems like a blend of TaylorMade woods and Titleist irons and wedges lately. Always fun to see what choices these guys make to get the job done. Took a bit of time, but satisfying to get a decent picture of his current bag.
