How to Convert Valorant Sensitivity to Overwatch 2: Easy Step-by-Step Guide
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

So, y’know, when you’re playin’ them games like Valorant and Overwatch 2, sometimes you get all confused ’bout the sensitivity settings. It ain’t the same, ya know? One game’s feelin’ all fast, the other one’s slow. But don’t worry, I’m here to help ya out with makin’ it a little simpler to switch between them, and get things feelin’ just right. Here’s a little guide on how to convert your Overwatch 2 sensitivity to Valorant, and I’ll keep it as simple as possible, like I’m talkin’ to my neighbor at the market.

How to Convert Valorant Sensitivity to Overwatch 2: Easy Step-by-Step Guide

First thing ya gotta know is that Overwatch 2 and Valorant use different scales when it comes to sensitivity. So, if you try to just use the same number in both games, it’s not gonna feel right. But there’s an easy fix, all you gotta do is divide your Overwatch 2 sensitivity by 10.606, and that’ll give ya the right sensitivity for Valorant. Let me explain it better.

Say, if you’re playin’ Overwatch 2 and your sensitivity is set at 1.0, well, all you gotta do is take that number and divide it by 10.606. That’ll give ya 0.094 for your Valorant sensitivity. Ain’t too hard, is it? Just a little bit of math and you’re good to go. So if your Overwatch 2 sens is higher or lower, just do the same thing: divide by 10.606. Now you got a sens that works better for Valorant!

Now, I know there’s some folks who like to use high DPI for more precise aiming. Let’s talk about that a bit. Most folks recommend 800 DPI when you’re playin’ both these games. And if your sensitivity in Overwatch 2 is about 4, that’ll be just about perfect for folks who like to play characters like Cassidy, Widow, Ashe, and Hanzo. These are the heroes where you need to be real accurate, y’know, and you want your aim to be steady. But, of course, some people like it faster, some like it slower, so it’s up to ya.

If you’re the kind of person who likes to move just your wrist and not so much your whole arm, ya might want a higher sensitivity. Something like 5 or 7 might work better for ya, but don’t go higher than that, or you might start missin’ all your shots. For most folks, though, 4 sensitivity with 800 DPI feels just right. I always say, use a big mousepad, too, it makes it easier to move your mouse without gettin’ all cramped up. Oh, and maybe even get an arm sleeve if you want to be real comfortable.

Another thing to think about is the eDPI. That’s a fancy way of sayin’ how sensitive your mouse is when you’re playin’. To figure out your eDPI for both games, you just multiply your DPI by your in-game sensitivity. If you use 800 DPI and 4 sens in Overwatch 2, that gives ya 3200 eDPI. When you’re playin’ Valorant with the same settings, your eDPI is gonna be the same, so you don’t have to worry about that too much. The key is just gettin’ that right sensitivity number.

How to Convert Valorant Sensitivity to Overwatch 2: Easy Step-by-Step Guide

If you’re ever in doubt, there’s a tool out there that can help ya convert your Overwatch 2 sensitivity to Valorant and vice versa. All you gotta do is plug in your DPI and sensitivity, and it’ll tell ya what the right settings are. You can even use it for other games like CS:GO, Warzone, and more, if you’re playin’ a bunch of them. It’s real simple, and that’s what I like.

So, in summary, if you want to get your Overwatch 2 sens to work in Valorant, remember: divide your Overwatch 2 sens by 10.606, and you’ll be good to go. Make sure your DPI is around 800, and don’t forget the importance of a big mousepad and comfortable wrist movements. It’s all about feelin’ comfortable and makin’ sure your aim stays true.

Now, I hope this helps y’all out. It don’t matter if you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, gettin’ your sensitivity right is important. Just keep practicin’ and you’ll get it down in no time. Good luck, and may your aim always be steady!
